Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, together with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, Serbia, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Podgorica, Montenegro, Babeș-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Engineering Resita, Romania and Reykjavik University, Iceland, as co-organizers, is organizing the 17^th International Conference on Accomplishments in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, DEMI 2025. The conference will be held from 29 – 30 May 2025 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka.

Following the development of new trends in engineering, the DEMI Conference has been evolving since its beginnings, together with the advancements in the mechanical engineering sector that interacts with other related fields. For this reason, DEMI has been recognized by the scientific and professional public as a successful international conference that provides an opportunity for scientists, researchers and experts to present their achievements and exchange experiences with colleagues from around the world.

Taking into account the circumstances that have generated the economic and energy crisis, but also new engineering trends oriented towards new materials and technologies, circular economy and resource efficiency, the goal of this conference is to present and bring closer the results of research and developments in mechanical engineering and related disciplines to participants and the broader public. It also aims to propose how to apply these results in practice in the best possible way.

In cooperation with our colleagues from Serbia, Montenegro, Romania and Iceland, the 17^th DEMI Conference represents the continuity of providing a quality platform for the academic community, researchers, engineers and participants representing the industry, so they could exchange their experiences and establish new business connections.

The DEMI Conference will stay committed to its distinctive program of events, with introductory lectures by invitation, work in sections and an unmissable gala dinner. We would like to inform you that the presentations at the DEMI 2025 conference will be held live, and we invite you to join us in our beautiful Banja Luka, in the promotion of knowledge, exchange of opinions, ideas and experiences.
